In May 2026, Luna held its inaugural print exhibition at Centrala, Birmingham, which POST was invited to show work at.
Care & Defiance was a group exhibition that explored the female gaze in all its multiplicity. The show featured work by 11 contemporary photographers selected via an open call, two national photo collectives: POST Photo Collective and UK Black Female Photographers, a Lisel Haas Archive curation in partnership with Bertz Associates and a salon showcase of outstanding images submitted to the open call.
Care & Defiance was inspired by bell hooks in viewing love as an act of resistance. Across staged portraiture and documentary image-making, collage, performance and analogue processes, this exhibition explored timely themes of identity and community, urban and domestic space, migration, memory, and the politics of everyday life.
